American Red Cross Swim Lessons

Private Swim Lessons: $38.50 per child for 30min. Call the pool to schedule at 253-840-8811.
Public Group Swim Lesson Sessions: $88.00 per child and consist of eight 30-min lessons.

General Swim Lesson Information

General Swim Lesson Information

Class Size: Preschool levels and parent/child classes are limited to 5 children per instructor. Parent-child classes must have one adult in the water per child. Learn to Swim levels 1-6 are limited to 6 children per instructor.

Classes are planned and well organized – if you would like to speak with your child’s instructor, please do so before or after class, not during.
Student Absent: We do not offer make-up days if a student is absent.
Placement In Classes: Knowing your child’s ability is your responsibility. We will verbally help place your child, OR you may come to a Family Open Swim and ask a supervisor to evaluate your child. Evaluations during program times are free. An adult may be asked to get in the water with their child for the evaluation.

If a child is placed incorrectly and there is no additional space in a different level, a refund will be given. You purchase the spot you sign up for.
Slow Progress: Student progress varies depending on age, strength, learning ability, etc. Teaching young children to swim takes time. As a beginner they must first overcome fear/anxiety and build confidence. If you feel your child needs extra practice come to family open swim to practice skills with your child.

Aqua Aerobic Classes

Aqua Aerobic Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm. Online registration begins at 7:00am on the registration date. There are eight classes in aerobic session. Classes are 60-minutes in length. An Aqua Aerobics Session is $50.00. For those over 65 years of age, the senior class fee rate is $44.00.

(The pool is located on the backside of the gym building across from the tennis courts. The corner of 6th Street SW and West Main. During non-school hours guests are welcome to use the parking lots on campus.)
