Puyallup High School is celebrating 15 students recognized as this year’s Elizabeth Wesley Youth Merit Incentive Award recipients.
Award Program's History
Established in 1995-96, The Elizabeth Wesley Award Program honors African-American students for academic excellence, community involvement, and good citizenship. Each recipient receives a $350 incentive award. The program is named in honor of Elizabeth Wesley, a respected civic leader and founding member of the Tacoma Urban League.
